Secular Promise

**Secular curriculum.** No religious content in the readings, the writing prompts, the math, or the project / booklist material.

The fable and myth readings are presented as **world-culture literature** — stories that human cultures have told for centuries to explain values, origins, and how to live — not as religious instruction. Math is treated as math: arithmetic, place value, measurement, and reasoning, without ideological framing.

Plain secular language throughout: when a story features gods, they're taught the way they're taught in a comparative-literature class, not the way they're taught in a Sunday school.
